The JB4 Acura tuner is a powerful plug & play performance tuning system designed for modern turbocharged Acura engines including the Integra Type S, TLX Type S, TLX 2.0T, MDX Type S, and RDX 2.0T. The JB4 connects to two easy-to-access sensors in the engine bay and works with your factory ECU to safely remap boost, timing, and fueling for significant horsepower gains and reduced turbo lag.
No ECU flash required and fully compatible with locked 🔒 ECUs.
Installation is extremely discrete and unlike traditional ECU flash tuning the JB4 can be removed quickly without leaving a trace. Your vehicle’s factory ECU never detects the additional boost or power levels. Fuel economy during normal driving remains unchanged and the JB4 is compatible with all factory driving modes.
The JB4 includes a plug & play OBDII CANbus connection allowing it to read critical engine data directly from the ECU in real time including pedal position, throttle position, ignition timing, fuel trims, air/fuel ratio, engine knock, and more. Other tuners without CANbus integration cannot monitor or adjust tuning based on this critical engine data.
Using this advanced data input the JB4 Acura performance tuner delivers huge power gains with smooth and reliable power delivery.

Add the optional JB4 PRO Bluetooth adapter to connect the JB4 tuner to your iOS or Android smartphone. The JB4PRO mobile app allows you to monitor engine data, change performance maps, record data logs, and update firmware as new features and more powerful maps are released.
The JB4PRO app provides a clean user interface with built-in help menus and advanced data logging tools that can estimate performance and help identify tuning issues.

What is a JB4?
The JB4 is a plug & play tune available for turbocharged vehicles. The JB4 tuner installs between your car's sensors and it's DME/ECU (computer) and manipulates vehicle performance through these connections making your vehicle much faster. While it's not the only tuning system that operates this way the JB4 separates itself from the competition with much more advanced connection points and processing including CANbus, fuel & spark control, Bluetooth to your smartphone, and a variety of innovative and advanced features not possible with any other system. BMS regularly publishes free mapping and firmware updates adding performance and features as ongoing development allows. In addition, the JB4 system is not VIN-locked to your vehicle and can quickly be removed and swapped between cars or resold at a later time. Often imitated but never duplicated the JB4 has been the gold standard in plug and play turbocharged performance tuning for over a decade.
Is the JB4 a real tune?
Yes. The JB4 actively adjusts boost, ignition timing, air fuel ratios, and fuel trims using real-time engine data through its CANbus connection. This allows the JB4 to deliver performance gains similar to ECU flash tuning while maintaining factory safety systems and without permanently modifying the ECU.

Canceled orders are subject to a 5% merchant fee (8% for Shop Pay installments). Custom, specialized items or pre-order items canceled within their lead time are also subject to this fee. Will also incur a 10% restocking fee.
