The JB4 Performance Tuner for the 2023+ Nissan Z 3.0L Twin-Turbo is the ultimate plug-and-play tuning solution, offering power gains of up to 100 horsepower and 120 lb-ft of torque to the wheels on a stock vehicle. Designed by Burger Motorsports, the JB4 works seamlessly with the vehicle’s factory DME, remapping boost, timing, and fueling to maximize performance while maintaining OEM driveability and reliability.

Unlike flash tuning, the JB4 does not alter the factory ECU software directly. Instead, it intercepts and adjusts signals to safely increase boost pressure without affecting the manifold pressure reference. This allows the ECU to correctly adapt timing and fueling to the increased performance, resulting in stock-like drivability with significantly enhanced power delivery under throttle.

Installation is simple, connecting to just two easy-to-access sensors in the engine bay, and it integrates directly into the OBDII CANbus system to unlock advanced tuning features and data analysis. For those wanting full control, the JB4 offers Bluetooth mobile app support (via JB4 Mobile connect kit) or Windows PC connectivity (via BMS Data Cable) to log data, switch maps on the fly, update firmware, and adjust settings as needed.

The JB4 also supports boost by gear, ethanol-compatible maps, AFR adjustment, and exhaust valve control (where supported). This system is not VIN-locked, so it can be easily removed without a trace and resold or transferred to another compatible vehicle.

JB4 Mobile by DMAC was released in 2014 and has become the gold standard for phone-to-tuner integration with its unique gauge display options/themes and advanced security systems. The JB4 Mobile app is purchased separately for $29 and requires the JB4 Mobile adapter.

What is a JB4?

The JB4 is a plug & play tune available for turbocharged vehicles. The JB4 tuner installs between your car's sensors and its DME/ECU (computer) and manipulates vehicle performance through these connections making your vehicle much faster. While it's not the only tuning system that operates this way the JB4 separates itself from the competition with much more advanced connection points and processing including CANbus, fuel & spark control, Bluetooth to your smartphone, and a variety of innovative and advanced features not possible with any other system. BMS regularly publishes free mapping and firmware updates adding performance and features as ongoing development allows. In addition, the JB4 system is not VIN-locked to your vehicle and can quickly be removed and swapped between cars or resold at a later time. Often imitated but never duplicated the JB4 has been the gold standard in plug and play turbocharged performance tuning for over a decade.

Handling

Orders shipped directly from our warehouse are usually processed the same business day if placed before 12 PM MST, and tracking details are provided within 1 business day.

For drop-shipped items, processing times may vary depending on the manufacturer, typically 3–5 business days. Tracking updates may take longer in such cases.

Expedited shipping applies only once the item is ready to ship.

Return

You have 30 days after receiving your order to request a return. Items must be unused, in original packaging, and include proof of purchase. Customers are responsible for covering the return shipping costs.

Exchanges

Return the item and place a new order once approved.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. A restocking fee is 20% will be applied. Processing time depends on your bank or payment provider. The original shipping cost will not be refunded.

Cancellations

Canceled orders are subject to a 5% merchant fee (8% for Shop Pay installments). Custom, specialized items or pre-order items canceled within their lead time are also subject to this fee. Will also incur a 10% restocking fee.

Damaged or incorrect items

Inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately for assistance. If the wrong part was ordered, customer covers return shipping.

Disputes / Chargebacks

Our legal team is fully prepared to take stringent action against you for filing a baseless claim and initiating a fraudulent chargeback. This will lead to civil or criminal proceedings, which would require you to engage with our attorneys in our jurisdiction.

It is crucial to understand that filing a false chargeback is a serious offense, punishable by substantial fines or imprisonment. Potential penalties for fraudulent chargebacks can include one to three years in prison and fines ranging from $1,000 to $10,000. We treat all chargebacks with the utmost seriousness, regardless of the amount, as this is classified as a felony.

We will compose all necessary information to send your account to a collections agency and request that you be served once our lawyers organize the evidence and file a case against you.
