Keep Oil Out of your N54 BMW Air Intake System!
It's no secret that the N54 BMW turbo motors suffer from oil control problems causing oil to blow through and coat the intercooler and charge piping, gunking up intake valves and the VANOS system, lowering the effective octane, and generally degrading engine performance. The higher your boost levels the more apparent these problems become.
The low cost solution to this problem has finally arrived. The Phoenix Racing N54 oil catch can. While there are other catch cans on the market they all fall short in various areas. Some are mounted on the hot/turbo side of the motor preventing proper vapor condensation. Others utilize hoses that are too small and runs that are too long to allow proper PCV ventilation causing internal motor / ring sealing issues. Some have insufficient or no internal baffle system while others have internal baffles systems that are too restrictive. Some even bypass the PCV system all together venting crankcase gas and odor to atmosphere. Most are simply repackaged oil catch cans from smaller / lower power motors shoe horned in to place in the turbo BMW engine bay.
To solve these problems Phoenix Racing made a BMS inspired catch can specifically for the the turbo BMW application. It features 100% CNC machining with zero welding for a precision fit and long life. The hoses exceed the OEM PCV piping in diameter and that flow rate is maintained throughout the entire oil catch can ensuring no excessive crankcase pressure buildup. The N54 oil catch can retains the factory fully closed loop PCV operation preventing any PCV vapor from leaking to atmosphere. The mounting locations are selected to minimize the line length, allow more efficient operation, and retain a stealth look. Install takes around 20 minutes, includes all required hardware, and is 100% reversible. Simply unscrew the base of the can to safely dispose of captured oil with the rest of your used motor oil during oil changes.

Orders shipped directly from our warehouse are usually processed the same business day if placed before 12 PM MST, and tracking details are provided within 1 business day.

Expedited shipping applies only once the item is ready to ship.
Return
You have 30 days after receiving your order to request a return. Items must be unused, in original packaging, and include proof of purchase. Customers are responsible for covering the return shipping costs.

Exchanges
Return the item and place a new order once approved.
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. A restocking fee (up to 20%) may apply for damaged packaging or delivery issues. Processing time depends on your bank or payment provider. The original shipping cost will not be refunded.
Cancellations
Canceled orders are subject to a 5% merchant fee (8% for Shop Pay installments). Custom or pre-order items canceled within their lead time are also subject to this fee.
Damaged or incorrect items
Inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately for assistance. If the wrong part was ordered, customer covers return shipping.
Disputes / Chargebacks
We take all chargebacks and payment disputes very seriously. Filing a false or baseless chargeback is considered fraud and may result in civil or criminal action. Such cases can lead to legal penalties, including fines of $1,000–$10,000 and possible imprisonment.
Our legal team will compile all relevant documentation to dispute any fraudulent chargeback and may forward the case to a collections agency or pursue legal proceedings in our jurisdiction.
